A swag or mantle is the most elegant way to dress a fireplace, doorframe or staircase bannister this Christmas. Shaped to drape naturally rather than hang flat, our hand-crafted noble fir Christmas swags and mantles bring a traditional, country-house character to any entrance or room.

Hand-crafted in Pencombe, Herefordshire using sustainably sourced noble fir foliage, our fresh Christmas swags are available plain or decorated with seasonal berries, pine cones and hand-tied ribbon. Plain versions give you a natural foliage base to personalise yourself. Decorated versions arrive finished with tartan ribbon, red berries and pine cones, ready to display straight from the box.

Our Christmas swags come in straight and corner styles, making them suitable for fireplace mantelpieces, staircase bannisters, gate posts and porch columns, as well as dining tables and dressers. Corner swags are designed to sit neatly at the angle of a mantelpiece or doorframe, giving a fuller, more considered finish than a straight swag alone.

For the fireplace, our fresh Christmas mantles offer a longer, fuller drape across the full width of the chimneybreast, available in plain noble fir or decorated with holly, berries and ribbon. Whether you are dressing a period fireplace or a contemporary surround, a fresh mantle brings a scent and warmth that no artificial alternative can match.
