If you are looking for a Christmas mantle that feels properly festive, the Decorated Holly Christmas Mantle is it. Hand-crafted at Lower Hope Farm in Herefordshire, it combines fresh noble fir foliage with rich holly, deep red berries and a hand-tied red tartan ribbon that gives it a bold, traditional character.
The contrast of dark glossy holly leaves against the soft green noble fir, punctuated by clusters of red berries and finished with tartan ribbon, makes this one of the most visually striking mantles we produce. It suits darker doors and interior colour schemes particularly well, and works beautifully as a fireplace centrepiece throughout December.
Like all our mantles, it arrives fresh to order from our Herefordshire farm, filling the room with a natural pine and holly scent from the moment it is unwrapped. Perfect draped along a fireplace mantel, laid along a dining table as a centrepiece, or arranged across a staircase bannister.

The mantle is made with fresh noble fir as the base foliage, layered with holly, clusters of red berries and finished with a hand-tied red tartan ribbon. All foliage is locally sourced.
The key difference is the foliage and decoration combination. The Holly Mantle features holly and red berries with a red tartan ribbon, giving it a bolder, more traditional festive look. The Decorated Christmas Mantle uses noble fir with myrtle, eucalyptus and a classic bow for a softer, more natural appearance.
With good care, kept away from direct heat and lightly misted every couple of days, a fresh holly and noble fir mantle will look beautiful for three to four weeks. Holly is naturally resilient in cool conditions. See our aftercare guide for full care tips.
Measure the full width of your mantelpiece. For a trailing look, allow an extra 15 to 20 centimetres on each side. Contact us if you need a bespoke length or sizing advice.
Fresh foliage is more resilient than dried but we always recommend keeping any fresh mantle at a safe distance from open flames, candles and direct heat sources.
